Screening for Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to AMYRA: Academic Journal of Muamalah, Youth Education, and Religious Affairs are subject to plagiarism screening before entering the peer-review process. The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that all published works are original.
Manuscripts are screened using reliable plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or other comparable similarity-checking tools. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%, excluding references, properly quoted text, and commonly used methodological expressions.
If a manuscript exceeds the permitted similarity threshold or contains evidence of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of academic misconduct, the editorial team may reject the manuscript or return it to the authors for revision before further consideration.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original, appropriately cited, and comply with the journal's publication ethics. The editorial board reserves the right to conduct additional plagiarism checks at any stage of the editorial and publication process whenever necessary.
