This statement is based on the principles and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies to editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the scholarly merit, originality, clarity, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts are evaluated without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, political beliefs, or institutional affiliation. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and avoid conflicts of interest throughout the editorial process.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers assist editors by providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluations through a double-blind peer-review process. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, identify relevant published works that have not been cited, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their assessment.
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must submit original and unpublished work that is not under consideration by another journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their research, providing appropriate citations, and avoiding plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate submission, and redundant publication. All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and approve the final manuscript before submission.
Responsibilities of the Publisher
The publisher supports the editorial process by ensuring editorial independence, maintaining publication integrity, and promoting ethical publishing practices. Editorial decisions are made solely on academic merit and are free from commercial or institutional influence.
Ethical Standards
The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate submission, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, and other forms of academic misconduct. Manuscripts found to violate these standards may be rejected, withdrawn, or retracted in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the research, review process, or editorial decisions. Any conflicts of interest will be managed transparently to ensure fairness and integrity.
Corrections and Retractions
If significant errors or ethical violations are identified after publication, the journal will publish corrections, retractions, or other appropriate notices to preserve the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors are responsible for the originality of their work and grant the journal the right to publish accepted manuscripts in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policies.
