All manuscripts submitted to AMYRA: Academic Journal of Muamalah, Youth Education, and Religious Affairs undergo a rigorous editorial and peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of the published articles.

Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment to determine whether the manuscript fits the journal's focus and scope, complies with the author guidelines, meets academic writing standards, and satisfies the journal's ethical requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before peer review.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area.

Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on several criteria, including originality, significance of the research, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, quality of analysis, relevance to the journal's scope, validity of conclusions, and the adequacy of references.

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision.
  • Accept with minor revisions.
  • Request major revisions.
  • Reject the manuscript.

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers' comments and submit a revised version within the specified timeframe.

Final Decision

The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief after considering the reviewers' evaluations and the quality of the revised manuscript. The editorial decision is final.

Publication

Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and final publication according to the journal's publication schedule.

The editorial team is committed to ensuring a fair, objective, timely, and confidential peer-review process while maintaining the highest standards of academic quality and publication ethics.
